BARCELONA; April 6, 2011 -Accenture (NYSE: ACN) today announced the expansion of its global network of analytics innovation centers with the opening of a new center in Barcelona, Spain.  The Center is a global showcase for Accenture’s predictive analytics capabilities to clients who visit from around the world, with an initial focus on supply chain management.  The new facility is designed and equipped to address a wide range of issues that companies may be facing as they seek to glean deeper insights from data and improve decision-making processes, by providing them with quick and easy access to a range of sophisticated analytics solutions and resources, locally and globally.

NEW YORK and SUNNYVALE, Calif.; Feb. 14, 2011 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) are expanding their existing relationship with two technology agreements, one for the joint development, marketing, and delivery of a customized set of solutions focused on data center optimization and virtualization, cloud computing, and application optimization; and the second for NetApp’s Professional Services organization to expand its implementation capabilities by leveraging a dedicated Accenture team providing consulting and integration services.

NEW YORK; Dec. 6, 2010 – A global survey by Accenture (NYSE:ACN) on mobile devices and shopping shows that smartphone users would find it useful to download money-off coupons to their phones (79 percent), and receive instant money-off coupons as they pass by an item in a store (73 percent). Conversely, fewer than half (48 percent) of smartphone users have downloaded a coupon from their PCs. The survey results highlight how the growing use of smartphone technology and the economic downturn have encouraged cost-conscious consumers to explore alternative retail channels, such as online and smartphones, to secure bargains.

NEW YORK; Oct. 6, 2010 – Chemicals companies are not reaching their margin potential because they are over servicing customers and missing opportunities to offer premium priced services, according to global research undertaken by Accenture (NYSE: ACN) in association with the American Chemicals Council (ACC). The survey of 1,100 respondents shows that a lack of customer understanding is preventing chemicals suppliers from segmenting their market and identifying the factors their customers most value.
