UNOPS and Accenture Form Agreement to Pave Way for Future Collaboration


BRUSSELS, Mar. 4, 2016 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) have signed a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further enable cooperation between the two organizations on humanitarian and development projects in certain locations around the world.

Under terms of the agreement, UNOPS can gain access to Accenture’s in-depth business, technology and digital experience, from strategy to execution, to deliver innovative development solutions. In particular, Accenture Development Partnerships will provide services related to supply chain management, digital technology and the creation and management of cross-sector partnerships, strengthening UNOPS’ ability to deliver development solutions that have a lasting impact.

Nikolaj Gilbert, UNOPS Director of Partnerships, said: “We are delighted to forge this new relationship with Accenture. Combining our core competencies will enable us to provide new and impactful advisory and implementation services that can help address the complex operational challenges encountered on the ground.
