BUENOS AIRES; April 8, 2010 - Telefonica today inaugurated a new center built by Accenture to serve the applications and development needs of Telefónica Group’s Latin American and European operations. The center was delivered under contracts with Accenture signed in 2007 and 2009. Financial details were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the contracts, Accenture is managing the development and maintenance of applications related to consumer systems, billing and collections, across 17 markets in Latin America and Europe, meeting the needs of these operations, both from the human resources standpoint as from the technological infrastructure aspect.
