Porter Airlines to Use Navitaire’s Reservations, Revenue Management and Revenue Accounting Systems

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. and TORONTO, Ontario; Aug. 8, 2006 – Porter Airlines, based at Toronto City Centre Airport (TCCA), has selected Navitaire’s integrated suite of hosted services for the operation of its reservations, revenue management and revenue accounting functions. The services include Navitaire’s New Skies reservation system as well as the SkyPrice® revenue management and SkyLedger® ticketless revenue accounting systems. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Navitaire, a wholly-owned Accenture business, provides technology and business solutions to the airline industry on an outsourced basis.

Porter Airlines, which plans to provide service from its hub at TCCA beginning later this year, will use New Skies’ integrated Internet booking engine when the airline begins taking reservations, with plans to support other third-party distribution channels, including global distribution systems.

Porter will be the tenth airline to implement Navitaire’s New Skies reservation platform, an integrated Web-enabled reservation and inventory software suite introduced in 2005 that includes Internet, call center and airport departure control functionality.

“We sought the most comprehensive services to launch our innovative business model and Navitaire’s New Skies offered the richest features together with proven capabilities,” said Robert Deluce, president and chief executive officer of Porter Airlines. “Navitaire provides Porter a complete package of integrated reservations, revenue management and ticketless revenue accounting systems to meet our short implementation timeline and to support our planned growth.”

“An innovative, customer-centric airline powered by Navitaire’s proven technology and flexible systems, Porter Airlines will offer travelers to and from Toronto new travel options that are convenient and cost-effective,” said John Dabkowski, Navitaire managing director. “Navitaire’s industry-leading solutions help growing and established airlines achieve high-performance results and enable profitable growth.”
