NPTA Alliance Teams with Accenture to Provide New Education Opportunities for Members


CHICAGO and NEW YORK; July 16, 2009
--The NPTA Alliance has teamed with Accenture to offer members the ability to purchase access to the Supply Chain Academy, an online learning solution provided by Accenture. NPTA and Accenture worked together to identify a program of courses that bring real-time education opportunities to paper and packaging distributors, manufacturers and other industry professionals.  

“NPTA is committed to encouraging and supporting the education, training and development of our members, focusing on their individual role, business requirements and development needs. The Supply Chain Academy offers hundreds of online courses covering all supply chain functions and provides access to the latest supply chain theories, best practices and processes. The Academy also includes a specialized portal which provides a curriculum tailored to those with job responsibilities within distributor and manufacturing companies.  Available from any location in the world via the Internet, the Academy provides 24/7 education opportunities to supply chain practitioners at all levels.  NPTA members may access the Supply Chain Academy by purchasing an annual license from NPTA.
