Brazilian Credit Union SICREDI Announces Strategic IT Agreement with Accenture

Leading credit union targets improved IT performance, client-service through outsourcing

NEW YORK; May 20, 2010 – SICREDI, one of Brazil’s leading credit unions, has engaged Accenture (NYSE: ACN) to provide information technology (IT) support and systems development services under a strategic outsourcing contract.

“This engagement closely aligns with our business and IT strategy and follows current market trends of hiring specialized services providers such as Accenture to offer and manage IT solutions,” said Denílson Mascarenhas, SICREDI IT executive director. “This decision will lead us to a new level of technology, helping us to increase our results and support in the development of new business, products and services for the credit unions integrated or affiliated with our systems.”
