Anadolu Sigorta Selects Accenture’s Claims Solution to Support Its Transformation Program

ISTANBUL; May 11, 2010 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been selected to license, implement and maintain the Accenture Claim Components Solution, its claims management application, at Anadolu Sigorta (ISE: ANSGR), the leading Turkish property and casualty (P&C) insurer. The system will be designed to help Anadolu Sigorta accelerate claims processing and improve customer service, while reducing the cost of its claims operation.
The new claims solution is part of a broader program initiated by Anadolu Sigorta in 2008 to transform its business processes and establish an operating model focused on customer satisfaction and growth.
“Because claims management plays such a pivotal role in customer satisfaction, our objective is to provide our customers with the best possible claims service, leveraging the most advanced technologies,” says Musa Ülken, deputy chief executive officer at Anadolu Sigorta. “We selected Accenture because of its understanding of the claims handling process, its global experience in implementing core insurance systems and because the Accenture Claim Components Solution is a highly configurable solution that enables rapid deployment across all of our insurance business lines.”
Accenture will implement the Accenture Claim Components Solution to support core claims transactions -- from first notice of loss through financials and reserve management -- for Anadolu Sigorta’s P&C insurance operation in Turkey. In addition, Accenture will provide the insurer with related software maintenance and upgrades for five years.
“Claims service is where an insurer is put to the test in terms of its ability to delight or disappoint the customer, and is therefore a key differentiator,” says Dilni?in Bayel, a senior executive in Accenture’s Financial Services practice. “High-performing businesses such as Anadolu Sigorta understand that claims service expectations are evolving, and that today’s insurance customers are demanding more from their carriers. By revamping its claims organization, Anadolu Sigorta is responding to the needs of its customers while, raising the bar for insurance services in the Turkish marketplace.”
