Accenture Selected to Help Stryker Improve Operating Efficiencies

Deployment of SAP® S/4HANA will help standardize and automate business processes

NEW YORK; June 29, 2016 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been selected by Stryker, a leading medical technology company, to support the standardization of its business processes across the company.

Accenture will deploy the SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA® (SAP S/4HANA) solution as the digital foundation for Stryker’s global enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The scope of the project will provide systems implementation, business process advisory, project management and change management services. The program is intended to standardize and automate business processes in finance, sales, logistics, supply chain and procurement for Stryker, with a global deployment of SAP S/4HANA, SAP World Template and leveraging Assemble-to-Order methodology.

Accenture will deliver the work onsite at Stryker, as well as from the Accenture Innovation Center for SAP in Kronberg, Germany, and the Accenture Delivery Center in Pune, India. These centers are part of Accenture’s differentiated approach to delivering SAP-based solutions and services that help build the next generation of business solutions by combining advanced analytics, mobility, cloud and in-memory processing with core SAP technologies.

SAP and Accenture announced in January of 2016 they are joining forces in the industry development and go-to-market of SAP S/4HANA, the next-generation business suite from SAP built on the industry’s most advanced in-memory platform. This collaboration will accelerate development of SAP S/4HANA as well as industry and line-of-business solutions, with a view to simplifying and fast-tracking customers’ journeys to digital businesses.
