Accenture Selected as Preferred Vendor for Application Outsourcing Services

TORONTO; April 2, 2007 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has signed a master services agreement with Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, a member of the Sun Life Financial group of companies. This arrangement establishes Accenture as a preferred vendor for the provision of application development and maintenance services to Sun Life Financial.

Outsourcing application development and maintenance projects is part of Sun Life Financial’s program to consolidate its emerging markets presence and further integrate its business strategy and operations worldwide. By outsourcing some of these services, Sun Life Financial aims to decrease time to market and improve global efficiency and performance.
