Accenture Recognized as a "Leader" in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Property & Casualty Insurance Policy Management Modules for Duck Creek Policy Software

NEW YORK; Jan 26, 2015 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been positioned as a “Leader” in Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant for Property and Casualty Insurance Policy Management Modules, North America” for its Duck Creek Policy software1. The report focuses on North American vendors that have demonstrated an ability to scale their solutions by supporting the business needs of Tier 1-3 multiline insurers.

“Insurers buying these solutions are typically not interested in acquiring development platforms that will still require that they invest substantial effort in designing and implementing new policy core processing capabilities. Instead, they are generally seeking vendors that offer mature policy management modules (and complementary systems) with comprehensive functionality and out-of-the box-content, and that have a proven track record of supporting relevant LOBs and – increasingly – a proven ability to support rapid implementations,” wrote Jeff Haner, Gartner analyst and report author.

“To be named by Gartner as a leader in policy management solutions is an exceptional achievement by Accenture,” said Patti Griffin, Global Product Lead at Accenture Duck Creek. “We have continued to evolve our highly configurable software to better serve the needs of our clients and see this recognition as confirmation that our efforts, such as Software as a Service options and Insurance Services Office and National Council on Compensation Insurance templates, continue to meet market demand.”

Accenture Duck Creek Policy is one component in the Accenture Duck Creek suite of software that also includes rating, billing and claims solutions. Each component can be implemented independently or combined for an integrated approach to manage all aspects of the property and casualty insurance lifecycle. Accenture Duck Creek Policy software can be provided via an on-premise license or as a hosted service.
