Accenture Ranks Number Two in LATINA Style 50 Report

NEW YORK; August 22, 2013 – Accenture has been ranked number two in the 2013 LATINA Style 50 Report, an annual ranking that identifies the 50 best companies for Hispanic women to work for. The Report is considered the most respected evaluation of corporate America’s career advancement opportunities for Hispanic women.

“The recognition from LATINA Style confirms what we’ve long known: the success of our more than 90,000 women around the globe is key to our success,” said Jorge Benitez, chief executive—United States and senior managing director—North America, Accenture. “Creating an authentically inclusive culture is a powerful differentiator, and we are committed to supporting women’s professional goals and encourage their success no matter how they define it.”

The questionnaire evaluates companies on several workplace issues identified by LATINA Style readers, including: number of Hispanic women executives, retention, mentoring programs, educational opportunities, alternative work policies, employee benefits, women’s issues, job retraining, affinity groups, and Hispanic relations. This year there was special interest in opportunities available for military veterans and students, as well as health benefits for employees.

The news of LATINA Style’s 50 Report follows its announcement earlier this year of the “Top 5 Latina Executives of the Year,” which included Nellie Borrero, managing director – Global Inclusion & Diversity, Accenture.
