Accenture Positioned in the “Leaders” Quadrant of Leading Industry Analyst Firm’s

Magic Quadrant for SAP Application Service Providers

NEW YORK; Feb. 27, 2012 – Accenture has been positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant in Gartner Inc.’s recently published “Magic Quadrant for SAP Application Service Providers, Europe” report.1

According to Gartner, buyers of SAP® application life cycle services are increasingly seeking providers with industry capabilities and demanding services based on business outcomes, and this Magic Quadrant analyzed 16 IT service providers in Europe offering the full range of SAP application services including consulting, development and integration, and IT management.

The Magic Quadrant report evaluated all of the providers on two primary criteria -- “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision”. Particular factors under “ability to execute” include, in part, core services and the provider’s effective use of partnerships and alliances, end-to-end capabilities, comprehensive set of industry offerings and capabilities to deliver against business-outcome-based objectives and metrics. Additional criteria included: market responsiveness and track record; overall viability of the provider; sales execution/pricing; customer experience; and operations.

“Completeness of vision” criteria included: market understanding; vertical/industry strategy; marketing strategy; sales strategy; offering strategy; innovation; and geographic strategy.

“We believe Accenture’s positioning in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner is further recognition of Accenture’s unique combination of skills, experience and capabilities in providing end-to-end SAP application services to our clients,” said Kevin Campbell, group chief executive, technology, at Accenture.”The positioning reflects the strong strategic partnership that Accenture and SAP have forged over the past 30 years, which has facilitated the delivery of services and solutions to more than a thousand clients in nearly every industry, including clients in key vertical markets throughout Europe, and around the globe.”
