Accenture Positioned in the “Leaders” Quadrant of Leading Industry Analyst Firm’s

Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Application Service Providers in China

SHANGHAI; Sept. 24, 2012 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant in Gartner Inc.’s recently published “Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Application Service Providers, China.”1

Gartner assessed 17 providers for the Magic Quadrant, which focused the enterprise application implementation service market across consulting, system integration and deployment for China. The primary enterprise application domains that were evaluated included Business Intelligence (BI), customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource management (ERP), and supply chain management (SCM). Secondary domains were assessed in a general “other domains” category.

“China is an incredibly important and vibrant market for Accenture, and so we’re very pleased with the results of this Magic Quadrant and the message it sends to our clients,” said Paul Dean, managing director of Technology, Accenture Greater China. “We believe our Leader position reflects the strength of our enterprise application skills and capabilities across the primary domains, as well as our ability to serve local and global clients from our China delivery centers. To help our clients tackle their toughest business challenges, we will continue to invest in our China capabilities by enhancing our application skills and talent, particularly in SAP and Oracle, broadening our industry focus, and bringing even more of our global consulting expertise, innovation and industry-leading practices to China.”

The Magic Quadrant evaluated each provider’s capabilities in China to deliver integration and deployment services of packaged enterprise application software from both domestic and global vendors. Gartner assessed each provider on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision, using client references, background briefings, news releases and other analyst interactions as the basis for designating each provider’s position in the Magic Quadrant.
