Accenture Positioned in the "Leaders" Quadrant of Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Operations Consulting Services, Worldwide

NEW YORK; Feb. 25, 2014 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant of independent analyst firm Gartner Inc.’s recent report, "Magic Quadrant for Business Operations Consulting Services, Worldwide1.”

According to Gartner, “Leaders are performing well today, gaining traction and mind share,” and “they have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies.”

This Magic Quadrant examines 10 providers of business consulting services that support senior business stakeholders, including chief operating officers, chief supply chain officers, chief procurement officers and other leaders as they seek to improve their companies’ global operations. Among the capabilities included in the Gartner analysis are cross-industry operations strategy and transformation consulting services related to product innovation and life cycle management; supply chain management, which encompasses the planning, sourcing, making, delivery and service provision); and sourcing and procurement separately as Gartner said “it is often treated as a separate, very large transformational area.”
