Accenture Positioned as a Leader in an IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Life Sciences Research & Development Vendor Assessment on IT Outsourcing


NEW YORK; March, 12, 2014 – Accenture (NYSE:ACN) is positioned as a Leader in an IDC Health Insights IDC MarketScape vendor assessment covering IT outsourcing (ITO) across the life sciences research and development (R&D) industry.

The report, “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Life Science R&D ITO 2013 Vendor Assessment" (#HI245309) provides an assessment of the life science R&D industry and market trends, comparing major vendors and assesses the criteria that are most important for life science companies to consider when selecting a service provider.

For the purposes of this analysis, IDC Health Insights divided potential key measures for success into two primary categories: capabilities and strategies. The assessment includes client references. A total of 12 vendors participated in the vendor assessment.
