Accenture Names Irine Gaasbeek Country Managing Director for the Netherlands

AMSTERDAM; March 27, 2018 – Accenture has named Irine Gaasbeek country managing director for the Netherlands, effective June 1. In this role she will lead Accenture’s business and operations in the country, with a specific focus on growth by innovation and digital transformation.

Gaasbeek succeeds Manon van Beek, who will be leaving Accenture to become CEO and chair of the executive board of TenneT Holding B.V.

Gaasbeek, 47, is currently head of the company’s Financial Services practice in the Netherlands, responsible for managing and building its insurance, banking and capital markets capabilities. Before assuming this role in 2014, she led Accenture’s SAP practice in the Netherlands. From 2006 until 2010 she held various leadership roles within Accenture’s Utilities and Technology practices in the Netherlands.

Gaasbeek, who joined Accenture in 1994, has a strong record helping clients with their growth and business transformation agendas. She has significant experience working on large-scale programs for clients in the chemicals, energy, utilities and financial services industries and is the global client account lead for various key clients in the Financial Services sector.

Gaasbeek holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Delft University of Technology. She serves on the board of directors of RoboValley Foundation, a robotics center headquartered in Delft.
