Accenture Named Top Healthcare ERP Business Transformation and Implementation Leader by KLAS Research
NEW YORK; Mar. 1, 2021 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named a healthcare enterprise resource planning (ERP) business transformation and implementation leader by KLAS Research, one of the industry’s foremost research and insights firms.
ERP is the integrated management of business processes and helps companies collect, store, manage and interpret data. The KLAS report, ERP Implementation 2021: which Consulting Partners Foster ERP Success, notes that Accenture, whose clients include the largest health systems in the US, is often described as “critical to an implementation’s success” and that “outcomes include efficiency, organizational transformation, and cost savings.” Respondents also mention that “training from the firm supports end-user satisfaction and adoption.”
“Healthcare organizations are looking for implementation partners who, in particular, can set cloud solutions up to quickly achieve outcomes, such as end-user adoption and a positive return on investments,” said Warren Whitford, KLAS VP of Healthcare Consulting. “In the shift to cloud-based ERP, companies partnering with health systems need deep knowledge about cloud technology in order to drive the technical, training, and change management aspects of an implementation.”
The KLAS report set out to identify firms acting as the overall implementation leader for highly complex ERP projects. It noted that these engagements require three core competencies: business transformation, application implementation management, and technical expertise.
