Accenture Named ServiceNow US Federal Systems Integrator of the Year

ARLINGTON, Va.; Nov. 4 , 2015 – Accenture Federal Services was named ServiceNow 2015 U.S. Federal Systems Integrator of the Year, recognizing Accenture’s innovative use of ServiceNow solutions across case management, human resources, finance and mission services during the past government fiscal year. The award was announced at the third annual Federal NowForum in Washington, DC.

The 2015 Integrator of the Year Award acknowledges Accenture’s ability to leverage ServiceNow’s cloud-based workflow and automation technology platform to increase agencies’ capabilities, eliminate redundant processes and lower operational costs, according to the award committee.

With ServiceNow solutions, Accenture is helping federal agencies address mission and business needs across the enterprise by moving beyond traditional IT service management to include business service management, HR service centers, supply chain management, disaster response and event management, clearance management and electronic forms.

“Today’s digital world is disrupting the way government services traditionally have been delivered. Cloud solutions are enabling government agencies to deliver new capabilities faster, at a lower cost, and with an improved citizen experience,” said Tim Hoechst, Accenture Federal Services Chief Technology Officer. “High quality, cloud-based solutions like those provided by ServiceNow have given confidence to many federal leaders and will continue to drive demand for new agency-specific offerings.”

By using Agile development methods, Accenture can deploy ServiceNow solutions in as little as three to five days, ensuring federal clients can realize the power and benefits of “on-demand solutions.” In addition to fast and dynamic solution delivery, Accenture also has demonstrated savings of up to 75 percent in the first year when federal clients chose to utilize ServiceNow-based solutions instead of legacy technologies.

The award also validates Accenture’s “Cloud First” agenda, Hoechst said. As one of the largest cloud service providers in the federal government, Accenture focuses on cloud solutions first to help clients improve performance and mission delivery, he said.

Accenture has finalized the acquisition of Cloud Sherpas, a ServiceNow Master Tier Solutions Partner and a leader in cloud advisory, further strengthening Accenture’s position as the leading enterprise cloud services provider and enhancing its ability to provide clients with unparalleled cloud strategy, technology consulting, and cloud application implementation, integration and management services. The acquisition expands program offerings to support federal agency technology needs.

An enhanced version of the Accenture Cloud Platform – designed to help organizations increase the operating efficiency, cost structure, governance and control of their cloud applications – integrates with ServiceNow, giving users a fully integrated self-service IT service management (ITSM) experience. Providing advanced governance capabilities; automation; faster speed of service delivery; and, through improved self-service, a possible personnel costs reduction of as much as 25 percent.
