Accenture Named a Leader in Everest Group’s Healthcare Provider Digital Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2020

NEW YORK; July 22, 2020 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has again been named a “Leader” in healthcare provider digital services by Everest Group.

The recognition, in Everest Group’s Healthcare Provider Digital Services PEAK Matrix ® Assessment 2020,[1] marks the second consecutive year that Accenture has been recognized as a Leader in the global research and advisory firm’s annual assessment of the healthcare provider marketplace.

Accenture was positioned as a Leader due to its strong project delivery capabilities; a well-developed co-innovation network; the quality of its resources, including its consulting and technical expertise; and strong domain knowledge for undertaking digital transformation for healthcare provider clients.

The report [2] notes that while healthcare providers have historically been hampered by legacy IT systems and regulations, “…they are now jumping on the digital bandwagon to meet the demands of a challenged healthcare ecosystem,” particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The report evaluated the digital services capabilities of 22 professional services companies in the healthcare provider sector and mapped them on the Everest Group PEAK Matrix™, providing a data-driven comparative analysis of healthcare provider digital services providers based on market success and delivery capability.

In June, Accenture was also named a Leader in the “Medical Devices Digital Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2020,” which analyzed 21 information technology (IT) service providers specific to the medical devices sector globally.
