Accenture Life Insurance and Annuity Platform Wins Two XCelent Industry Awards



Celent recognizes ALIP as a leader in service and technology categories


NEW YORK; Dec. 13, 2017 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has received two XCelent awards for the Accenture Life Insurance and Annuity Platform (ALIP) in a recent report from research and advisory firm Celent.

In the report – “North American Life Insurance and Annuity Policy Administration Systems” – ALIP was named the top solution from among 12 policy administration systems in the “Advanced Technology” and “Depth of Service” categories.

“Accenture has made steady investments in ALIP. Celent has recognized their system as one of the better systems on the market,” said Tom Scales, head of Americas for life and health at Celent. “While every insurer’s needs are different, ALIP will likely make the short list for many selections.”

The report highlights Accenture’s skill, knowledge, responsiveness and post-implementation experience as contributing to ALIP’s services capabilities and notes that ALIP’s integrations and product flexibility, modern technology stack, and the continued investment in keeping the platform capabilities current are what clients liked best about ALIP.
