PHILIPPINES; August 13, 2015 – Accenture in the Philippines has increased its maternity leave benefit to 120 calendar days of paid leave, from the statutory requirement of 60 days for normal delivery.
“Accenture recognizes the valuable contribution and sacrifice of working mothers, who need more time off from work to focus on caring for their newborn,” said Lito Tayag, country managing director, Accenture in the Philippines. “Upgrading our maternity leave benefit is an important milestone for us, as part of our continuing effort to be the most inclusive and diverse organization and employer of choice in the country.”
