Accenture Helps Zurich Insurance Group Revamp Global Corporate Website to Support Digital Marketing StrategyZURICH and NEW YORK; Nov. 4, 2014 – Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) has gone live with its new global corporate website (www.zurich.com) that was built with help from Accenture (NYSE: ACN). Zurich’s website was revamped to enhance digital interactions with consumers and better support its global digital marketing strategy.
Accenture helped Zurich design, develop, test and roll out the new website. The global website was built to allow quick and easy migration of Zurich’s country-specific websites onto this global web platform, which enables those websites to benefit from the same enhanced digital capabilities. Accenture will also provide maintenance services, as a managed service, for the web content management applications and IT infrastructure that support the insurer’s website, under a newly signed three-year agreement. Avanade has assisted Accenture in building Zurich’s website and will also help Accenture deliver the maintenance services.

Zurich’s new global corporate website, which automatically adapts its design to desktop, smartphone and tablet devices, is based on a new technology platform that enables the insurer’s marketers to quickly design and launch personalized communication campaigns at scale across all digital channels. The platform helps marketing teams strengthen brand positioning and enhance customer engagement by providing actionable insights and advanced personalization tools.
