Accenture Extends Human Capital Management Offerings with Clone and Test Software on SAP HANA® Cloud Platform

NEW YORK; Mar. 3, 2015 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is expanding its human capital management offerings with the availability of Accenture Clone and Test software on SAP HANA® Cloud Platform. Accenture Clone and Test will complement and extend the capabilities of SuccessFactors® Employee Central software from SuccessFactors, an SAP company. SuccessFactors Employee Central is a cloud-based core HR system of record that combines HR transactions, processes and data with social collaboration and mobile functionality.

Before going into production with new human resources–related processes, companies typically test relevant data for a smooth implementation. Accenture Clone and Test on SAP HANA Cloud Platform is designed to provide reliable, meaningful and authentic HR test data for companies by providing a secure environment for the copying and testing of data. The solution swiftly copies and anonymizes SuccessFactors Employee Central data across systems, helping improve the quality and efficiency of regression testing and reducing the number of errors in software before it goes into production.

“Faced with a state of constant change, many companies are taking advantage of the flexibility of a cloud HR delivery model in order to effectively integrate personnel management processes,” said Michael Detwiler, managing director, Accenture Software. “Delivering Accenture Clone and Test on SAP HANA Cloud Platform helps our clients automate and accelerate data tasks. This lessens the administrative effort in setting up new test environments and helps increase operational agility.”

The creation of human capital test data is automated, saving time and resources and reducing the risk of mistakes. Test data is also anonymized, helping companies achieve compliance and minimizing exposure of sensitive information to unauthorized personnel. Using SAP HANA Cloud Platform safeguards the security of data, as it never needs to leave the SAP® data centers.

“We are pleased to see that Accenture is announcing another product built on SAP HANA Cloud Platform to complement the SuccessFactors Employee Central solution,” said Mike Ettling, president, HR Line of Business, SuccessFactors. “We believe that SAP HANA Cloud Platform will be increasingly valuable to customers as alliance partners like Accenture build applications that extend our solutions. Accenture has been a leader in adopting the platform, developing several applications popular with our customers. We think this will be an area of tremendous innovation and invention for HR.”

Used by more than 1,500 companies in over 40 countries, Accenture Human Capital Management Software is a suite of software complementary to SAP software for human resources and payroll that helps reduce implementation timelines, simplify upgrades, reduce operational costs and enable even higher performance in SAP solution environments. Accenture’s Human Capital Management Software for SAP solutions helps companies adopt a strategic approach to human resources by delivering global transformation and talent management solutions based on SAP software, refocusing the HR function from transactional to strategic programs that deliver critical capabilities for business success.
