Acquisition of Key Elements of Systor’s Business Will Enhance Accenture’s Ability to Serve Swiss Market
ZURICH; Feb. 6, 2003 — Accenture (NYSE: ACN), the world’s leading management consulting and technology services company, announced today that it has signed a contract enabling it to increase its outsourcing and information technology (IT) services capabilities in Switzerland by acquiring key assets of Systor, a Swiss provider of IT services.
Among the wide range of IT services that Systor provides to leading companies in Switzerland are outsourcing, hosting, application management, banking software solutions and software development. The assets that Accenture will acquire include Systor’s client contracts and the majority of its employees.

The contract requires that certain conditions, including receiving Swiss regulatory approval, be met before the transaction can be completed. Accenture anticipates that, once the conditions are met, it will be able to close the deal by the end of March.
