Accenture Expands Capabilities in Oregon; Opens Portland Area Office
PORTLAND, Ore.; Mar. 14, 2017 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) today announced an expansion of its capabilities in Oregon, including a new office that is now home to 100 Accenture employees who work with clients in Washington County. Accenture will focus on serving clients across the retail, information technology, hospitality and government sectors – leveraging capabilities including artificial intelligence, analytics and cloud to help them grow, compete and transform in the digital economy.

Accenture expands its capabilities in Oregon, with a new Portland-area office
The company has tapped Mario Capece, a 20-year veteran of Accenture, to lead the new office. Capece has led large-scale supply chain transformations for clients in retail, fashion and consumer packaged goods. He is a member of the Technology Association of Oregon and lives in the Portland area with his wife and daughter.
“I am excited to take on this new role, to build our business and grow our relationships in Oregon," said Capece. "Our new office location brings us closer to our clients in this thriving business community, which has great potential for our business. I am delighted that we are already actively recruiting in the market. We expect to add 50 people to our team in the next two years, bringing us to 150 people serving our clients.”

mentorship program, designed to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with expanded learning opportunities. Accenture’s people will act as mentors in the program. In addition, the company has joined the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce and will support its Young Entrepreneur Academy, designed to inspire 6th through 12th grade students to become successful contributors to the local community and economy by bringing their innovative business ideas to life.
