Company Expands Solution Delivery Centre in Kachidoki
TOKYO; April 22, 2002 – Broadening its core offerings in technology and systems implementation, Accenture today announced the expansion of its solutions delivery centre in Kachidoki, Japan.
Plans call for the Kachidoki facility to offer Japanese clients a wider choice of technology services with a focus on software development and implementation for such enterprise applications as SAP, Siebel, Oracle and PeopleSoft and specialty software such as Retek for retailers.
The facility will also house engineers and programmers who design, test and build enterprise solutions and Web services based on Microsoft and Java platforms. Current plans call for up to 100 engineers and programmers to be hired by the end of 2003.
The Kachidoki centre joins a global network of more than 40 facilities that offer clients a full range of services – from business transformation outsourcing to system design, implementation and application management.
