Accenture and TELUS win Adobe Experience Business Award for Excellence in Email Marketing
 
NEW YORK; June 21, 2018 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and TELUS have won the Adobe Experience Business Award for Excellence in Email Marketing. The award recognizes the success of Accenture’s support of the TELUS omnichannel marketing transformation to sustain and enhance its industry leadership in customer service and satisfaction.
 
During a rapid four-month implementation period, Accenture helped TELUS migrate 30 different systems and 56 campaigns to one new omnichannel platform, dramatically decreasing time to launch new campaigns and increasing overall campaign performance and conversion rates.
 
“Although we’ve historically had a large number of channels to interact with our customers, as a data-driven business, we knew that that wasn’t the right approach to deliver highly personalized omnichannel campaigns,” said Simone Lumsden, VP Brand and Customer Experience, TELUS. “We partnered with Accenture in order to leverage their marketing automation experience, cloud capabilities, understanding of the telecommunications industry, and experience in partnering with telcos to deliver rapid results, which made them a great partner of choice for this project.”
 
The goal of the project was to help TELUS acquire more customers, increase cross-selling and enhance the use of the digital channels to facilitate sales. The award demonstrates the success that can be realized by using technology to transform and integrate customer channels across different internal departments.
