Accenture Achieves High Product Assessment from Promotion Optimization Institute for Accenture CAS and Accenture Cloud Trade Promotion Management Software SolutionsNEW YORK; Sep 6, 2016 – Accenture has received high product assessments for its Accenture CAS and Accenture Cloud Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software solutions in Promotion Optimization Institute’s (POI) recently published “Trade Promotion Management Vendor Panorama 2016.”
Accenture’s software solutions received a Best in Class ranking for the Mobile UX category. Accenture CAS and Accenture Cloud TPM also received the highest scores across the product assessment for Product Aptness & Flexibility; Delivery Flexibility; TPM Functionality; TPO Completeness; User Experience; Analytical Capabilities and Configurability.
POI assessed 25 products from 24 service providers for the inaugural Trade Promotion Management Vendor Panorama, which is designed to help consumer goods companies improve their ability to manage trade promotions through the use of enabling technology.
In the report POI states: “The ability to execute mutually profitable trade promotions continues to be one of the greatest challenges in the industry. There has been some progress made in recent decades, however, many indicators point to a worse situation on some fronts as retailers feel the encroachment of new formats, such as Amazon, on their top and bottom line. Nevertheless, Trade Promotion is still highly relevant. It is also becoming more important in emerging markets such as Latin America and parts of Asia, where modern trade is on the rise.”
