A Decade of Success: Accenture Named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™: IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide for Tenth Consecutive Year
NEW YORK; Oct. 1, 2021 – For the tenth consecutive year, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been recognized as a Leader by Gartner, Inc., a company that delivers actionable, objective insight to executives and their teams.
In its September 2021 report, “Magic Quadrant for IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide,” Gartner positioned Accenture highest and furthest for its ability to execute and completeness of vision among the 12 companies it assessed. Accenture is named as the leading digital business consulting company in the communications services provider (CSP) space, measured by experience, methodology, CSP mind share and competitive mind share. Accenture believes the industry analyst evaluated the most relevant providers and their offerings providing IT services, consulting, systems integration, managed services and support services.
As per Gartner, “Leaders are suited for most ITS-CSP engagements. They are market-leading in several digital business transformation capabilities.”

For the report, Gartner defines IT services for CSPs as multivendor IT services that CSPs buy to enable new or to enhance existing offerings to their customers, or to transform their customer, partner, employee, service or infrastructure management. This includes optimizing existing infrastructure, applications and processes for cost and enabling new capabilities for price performance, growth and/or customer impact. The scope includes “as a service” offerings, emerging business models and network transformation services for cloud infrastructure and operations in a multivendor environment.
