Accenture Positioned as a Leader in European Professional Services for Data-Driven Government in IDC MarketScape Report
NEW YORK; Feb. 28, 2023 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named a leader in the IDC MarketScape: European Professional Services for Data-Driven Government 2022 Vendor Assessment (doc #EUR149014122e, February 2023) based on its capabilities to help public sector clients use data and intelligence to improve policymaking, service delivery and operational efficiency.
The report cites Accenture’s data-driven solutions, expertise and deep industry knowledge in government industries such as social services, tax and revenue, customs, public safety and public health. With in-country teams supported by European regional and global competencies, Accenture is credited with investing in local resources to serve government needs in every major Western European country.
IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the circles.

Vendors were evaluated for their data-driven service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
