For Seventh Straight Year, Accenture Positioned as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide



Accenture positioned highest and furthest for ability to execute and completeness of vision, respectively


NEW YORK; Oct. 11, 2018 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has again been recognized by independent analyst firm Gartner, Inc. as a Leader in providing information technology (IT) services for communications service providers (CSPs), worldwide. The company is positioned highest for ability to execute and furthest to the right for completeness of vision.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Gartner has recognized Accenture as a Leader in its report.

The report – “Magic Quadrant for IT Services for Communications Service Providers, Worldwide”* – analyzed 12 vendors that provide IT services for CSPs.

The report states, “IT services for communications service providers (ITS-CSP are IT consult/design, build and run services that CSPs buy to: enable new or enhance existing end-user offerings (services that CSPs offer to their customers); and transform their customer, revenue and service-management capabilities. Transforming customer, revenue and service management includes optimizing existing resources and processes or implementing improved ones (for example, for better self-service, fulfillment, provisioning automation, monitoring, billing, supplier and partner management).”
