Accenture Opens Future Camp in Moscow to Help Clients Drive Business Results Using Innovative Concepts

First center in Russia includes Accenture Liquid Studio for rapid prototyping of applications

MOSCOW; July 2, 2018 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has opened Future Camp, a unique venue promoting digital innovation, design thinking and innovative concepts that can deliver tangible business results through rapid prototyping and liquid development. Future Camp in Moscow offers an environment for clients, Accenture experts, start-ups and technology providers to come together and effectively create, share, develop and test ideas and new digital products for innovation. Accenture has also opened a new Liquid Studio as part of Future Camp.

Vartan Dilanian, Country Managing Director of Accenture Russia, said: “Future Camp allows us to bring key elements of our global Innovation Architecture to Russia, helping our clients develop and then implement digital innovation. It will allow our clients to tap into the Accenture methodology and offer them a place to discuss new ideas and, together with us and our ecosystem of partners, co-create new digital products, services and business models. That is our way to innovate.”

Design Thinking
One of the key focus areas at Future Camp is to conduct design thinking workshops in which companies consider their business problems or technologies through the eyes of the user. In these workshops, companies learn about the needs of customers, which leads to fresh ideas and prototypes for new products or services that can be tested quickly and developed further. The portfolio of workshop topics ranges from strategy and product development to client training sessions in design thinking. Future Camp therefore not only allows companies to search for groundbreaking ideas and be more creative and innovative, but also helps them develop user-centric service models and products using state-of-the-art and emerging digital technologies.

Turning ideas into applications
Future Camp specializes in rapid prototyping of digital services and applications. Within just a few weeks or even days, the experts and software developers turn ideas from workshops into actual prototypes. This is accomplished through the new Accenture Liquid Studio, located within Future Camp, where clients work side-by-side with Accenture software engineers to prototype and develop a wide range of custom applications using rapid development approaches such as Agile methodologies and DevOps, and disruptive technologies including cloud, intelligent automation, lightweight frameworks and plug and play, microservice-based architectures.

Accenture’s new Applied Intelligence business will apply artificial intelligence technologies and deep analytics expertise to the innovation and rapid prototyping process. It will unlock insights for clients on future events, changing conditions and customer demands from both existing and new data streams. This will allow them to enhance decision making, boost team collaboration, and discover new opportunities and probable outcomes for their business.
