Accenture Launches Innovation Center for Oracle in Riga to Accelerate Digital Transformation for Nordic Clients

Riga; May 18, 2017 – To support continuous innovation of existing and emerging Oracle-based technologies, Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has launched the Accenture Innovation Center for Oracle in Riga, Latvia. The center brings together Accenture’s industry experience and expertise with leading Oracle solutions, providing a facility for new and existing clients in the Nordic and Baltic region to test or pilot Oracle technology without up-front investments.

The center will provide access to the latest Oracle technologies with a primary focus on cloud computing offerings from the Accenture Oracle Business Group (AOBG). The business group was launched by Accenture and Oracle in April 2015 to help clients move to the cloud faster and with less risk. Building off the group’s success, the Software-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service offerings were expanded in September 2016 to include Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings.

At the Accenture Innovation Center for Oracle, clients can participate in interactive, onsite workshops with Accenture and Oracle professionals to conduct pilots, leveraging existing use cases and current best practices. The resulting solution or data will be provided to clients through a flexible cloud platform enabled by Oracle’s cloud technologies.
