Accenture positioned as a leader in IDC MarketScape and Everest Group PEAK Matrix™ reports
NEW YORK; May 9, 2016 – Industry analysts and clients have distinguished Accenture (NYSE: ACN) as a cloud industry leader in the As-a-Service economy. Recent IDC MarketScape and Everest Group PEAK Matrix™ reports recognized Accenture as a leader of worldwide cloud professional services and SaaS implementation services, respectively, distinguishing the company’s strategy and capabilities in the cloud market.

In naming Accenture a leader, the “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Cloud Professional Services 2016 Vendor Assessment” (doc #US40149616, April 2016) recognized Accenture’s successful strategy in scaling and integrating its existing services, as well as developing new services, to adapt to buyers’ preferences around industry-specific or horizontal stacks. The PEAK Matrix is a framework to assess the relative market success and overall capability of service providers based on Performance, Experience, Ability and Knowledge (PEAK) in an industry.
In the Matrix, Accenture has been strongly positioned as the overall leader—coming out on top in both Market Success and Delivery Capability.
