Accenture Helps 12th Man Foundation Modernize Donor Loyalty Program and Further Engage Members

AUSTIN, Texas ; Oct. 15, 2015 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has helped the 12th Man Foundation – an independent nonprofit organization that strives to continue Texas A&M’s athletic success by funding scholarships, programs, and facilities in support of championship athletics – develop a roadmap and a set of recommendations to sustain member loyalty.

Through a five-phase approach, Accenture delivered consulting services, including an organizational baseline assessment; peer benchmarking; assessment of membership loyalty leading practices; a membership engagement survey; and provided recommendations across a number of growth, segmentation and operational areas, in addition to helping create a high-level implementation roadmap.

“We enjoyed working with Accenture and developing a roadmap for a better loyalty program, one that addresses the changing expectations of our donors and truly makes this a trailblazing effort to build loyalty in the higher education arena,” said Skip Wagner, president and CEO of the 12th Man Foundation. “We want to continue to sustain the growth we have achieved of our fundraising in recent years while developing new experiences to further engage our membership.”

Tom Pettit, who leads Accenture’s work in Texas for the public sector, universities and nonprofits, said, “It is an honor to work with 12th Man Foundation, one of the most successful and respected fundraising organizations in college athletics. Our work will help the organization gain a clearer view and understanding of its members’ satisfaction, identify areas for potential growth, make better use of emerging digital capabilities in areas such as mobility and analytics to drive membership loyalty and expansion, and shift to a philanthropic-based focus.”
