Accenture Receives Partner Innovation Award for Industry Solutions at Dreamforce 2013
Accenture recognized for its outstanding contribution toward industry solutions in second annual Salesforce.com Partner Innovation Awards
SAN FRANCISCO, SALESFORCE.COM DREAMFORCE; Nov. 18, 2013 – Accenture [NYSE: ACN] has been named the recipient of the Salesforce.com Partner Innovation Award for Industry Solutions by salesforce.com. Accenture was recognized for its work with Unilever, building and implementing a digital social platform that connects its marketers, brand managers and partners in 190 countries. The award was presented at Dreamforce 2013, the world’s largest vendor-led technology gathering, on Nov. 18 in San Francisco.

Accenture built and implemented the digital social platform for Unilever in just 12 weeks. The implementation – which is built on the Salesforce Platform and leverages Salesforce Chatter – enables Unilever marketers to share knowledge, best practices and creative assets across the network.

The work was delivered as part of Accenture Commercial Services for Consumer Goods, a business service that helps companies increase sales and margins through a combined offering of management consulting, technology and outsourcing to improve interactions with consumers, customers and channels.
Continuing the collaboration with salesforce.com in this space, Accenture is launching Accenture Perfect Consumer Engagement, a new end-to-end marketing and commerce service that leverages digital and social technologies and captures data across the business to provide a cohesive view of the consumer. The service uses information and insight to provide relevant and consistent consumer engagement and experiences while at the same time deepening relationships, increasing consumer acquisition, sales and advocacy. Enabled by Salesforce, Accenture software, solutions and services, and other relevant third party software, the service includes consumer experience and interaction design, consumer analytics and targeting, and campaign and content management.
