Accenture Positioned in the “Leaders” Quadrant of Leading Industry Analyst Firm’s

Magic Quadrant for Oracle Applications Service Providers

NEW YORK; Feb. 27, 2012 – Accenture has been positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant in Gartner Inc.’s recently published “Magic Quadrant for Oracle Applications Service Providers, Europe” report.1

According to Gartner, the buyers of Oracle Applications life cycle services are increasingly seeking providers with industry capabilities and the ability to meet business outcomes, and this Magic Quadrant analyzed 11 providers of IT consulting, development and integration, and management services for Oracle Applications in the European market.

The Magic Quadrant report evaluated all of the providers on two primary criteria -- “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision”. Particular factors under “ability to execute” include, in part, core services and the provider’s effective use of partnerships and alliances, end-to-end capabilities, comprehensive set of industry offerings and capabilities to deliver against business outcome-based objectives and metrics. Additional criteria included: market responsiveness and track record; overall viability of the provider; sales execution/pricing; customer experience; and operations.

“Completeness of vision” criteria included: market understanding; vertical/industry strategy; marketing strategy; sales strategy; offering strategy; innovation; and geographic strategy.

“We believe Accenture’s positioning in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner illustrates our targeted strategy to develop industry-specific Oracle solutions for the European market, leveraging our joint investment initiatives with Oracle in key industries,” said Kevin Campbell, group chief executive, technology, at Accenture. “The report also underscores our clients’ high level of satisfaction with our Oracle application services and the business value derived from our relationships, which can be attributed to the more than 50,000 Accenture professionals around the world who provide innovative solutions across the entire Oracle suite of products.”

Accenture is a Diamond level member in Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).
