Accenture Honored as One of the “Best Corporate Citizens” in Government Contracting
Corporate Responsibility Magazine Cites Transparency, Environment, Human Rights and Philanthropy Efforts
RESTON, Va; July 28, 2011— The nation’s leading independent voice on corporate citizenship has selected Accenture (NYSE: ACN) as one of the top government suppliers. Corporate Responsibility magazine ranked Accenture second on the list of “the Best Corporate Citizens in Government Contracting,” acknowledging the company’s role in embracing social responsibility and transparency when working with government agencies.
The companies listed aremeasured against 324 different elements in seven weighted categories: climate change, employee relations, environment, financial, governance, human rights and philanthropy.
