Accenture Named Among "Most Admired Global Companies" In Contract Management

NEW YORK; Oct. 9, 2008 - Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named the second-most-admired company in contract management in a survey conducted by the International Association for Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM), a non-profit foundation recognized as the international authority on the role of contracting management in the global networked economy.

The IACCM study is the first-ever of its kind. Almost 10,000 contracts, procurement and legal professionals worldwide were asked to nominate the companies they most admire for the quality of their contract management performance from a limitless field. They identified more than 400 organizations (about half of which are in the Fortune Global 500) and Accenture was the number-two most admired contract management performer in the world.

Accenture manages thousands of partnerships and client relationships globally, in numerous locations and regulatory environments. Being named by IACCM as the second-most-admired company in contract management, recognizes Accenture’s ability to effectively manage its contracting processes for regulatory compliance, risk management and effective change management.
