Accenture and Edge Dynamics Launch Next Phase of Channel Commerce Management Initiative for Bristol-Myers Squibb
Accenture and Edge Dynamics form new industry alliance
NEW YORK and REDWOOD CITY, Calif.; Oct. 5, 2006 – Accenture and Edge Dynamics, the leading provider of channel commerce management (CCM) solutions, announced that they will implement the next phase of their work with Bristol-Myers Squibb.
This collaboration represents the first project for Accenture and Edge Dynamics under their new alliance to deliver Edge Dynamics’ enterprise software solutions to the life sciences industry in North America.
Deployed at leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, the Edge Dynamics CCM solution enhances corporate performance by enabling manufacturers to more effectively manage channel operations. The Accenture and Edge Dynamics teams bring both the industry and technology experience to help achieve this important initiative.
The Accenture project team will implement the next phase of the Edge Dynamics CCM solution to enhance the channel commerce management system between Bristol-Myers Squibb channel partners and the company’s SAP enterprise resource planning system. This project builds upon the work started by Edge Dynamics in 2005.
