Health Alliance Plan and Accenture Extend IT Outsourcing Contract Through 2010

NEW YORK and DETROIT; Feb. 15, 2005 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) and Health Alliance Plan (HAP) have signed a multi-year information technology outsourcing agreement that extends their existing contract through 2010.

Accenture will continue to develop, maintain and support HAP’s eCommerce applications and systems that allow the health plan to interact online with members, providers, employers and agents. Accenture will continue to support HAP’s core administrative systems, including enrollment, billing, claims processing, capitation and other processes.
