Accenture Helps ING Expand Focus on Client Service with the Launch of a New Workforce Management Service in the Netherlands

AMSTERDAM and NEW YORK; June 28, 2004 – ING Group (NYSE: ING ) and Accenture (NYSE: ACN) have signed a five-year sourcing contract under which Accenture will manage ING Flexforce, a new service that provides ING Intermediair with complete management of its temporary insurance workforce in the Netherlands. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Accenture will provide the staffing and overall management of all non-financial temporary personnel to help ING Intermediair, ING’s Netherlands-based insurance division, improve the speed and efficiency of managing its temporary workforce. ING Flexforce is designed to make the fulfillment of resource requests even more flexible so that the resources selected are more closely aligned with the specific needs of ING’s intermediaries.
