Accenture Announces Executive Changes

NEW YORK; Feb. 24, 2004 – Accenture today announced leadership changes involving two executive officers of the company.

Joellin Comerford has been named group chief executive – Outsourcing Operations, a new group with responsibility for supporting Accenture’s operating groups in selling and executing outsourcing contracts and other large, complex contracts. Ms. Comerford retains the sales responsibilities she had under her most recent position as group director – Sales Development. She reports to Bill Green, Accenture’s chief operating officer – Client Services. Accenture’s business process outsourcing (BPO) business will continue to report to Jack Wilson, chief executive – Business Process Outsourcing.

Ms. Comerford’s organization assumes the outsourcing-related responsibilities of Gregg Hartemayer, group chief executive – Technology & Outsourcing, who is taking a leave of absence from Accenture for family reasons beginning March 1. Mr. Hartemayer is relinquishing his capability group leadership position and his role as an executive officer of the company.
