Accenture Statement
July 15, 2003 – Accenture said today that management has become aware of an incident of possible noncompliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and/or with Accenture’s internal controls in connection with certain Accenture operations in the Middle East.
Accenture said it is conducting an internal investigation, which is ongoing. The company has notified and will cooperate with appropriate government agencies in connection with this matter.
Accenture said it does not believe that this matter will have any material impact on its results of operations or financial condition.
The company takes this matter seriously and will pursue it diligently to its conclusion.
