Accenture Names Harry You CFO

NEW YORK, June 19, 2001 – Accenture today named Harry L. You chief financial officer, effectively immediately.

You, 42, was previously a managing director at Morgan Stanley, where he ran the Information Services Group. He supervised a global team that guided major professional firms through the transition from partnership structure to public ownership.

Prior to holding that position, You was senior vice president of Lehman Brothers, responsible for several diversified conglomerates and information technology companies. He holds degrees from Yale and Harvard.

You will report directly to CEO Joe Forehand and will be responsible for guiding Accenture through its planned IPO and running the CFO function once the company becomes public.

Mike McGrath, 54, who has served as Accenture CFO since September 1997, will serve as treasurer, managing the treasury and tax functions and corporate matters. McGrath, who has been with the company for 28 years, has held a variety of executive positions in the United States and Europe, serving on the Accenture Executive Committee since 1992.
