Accenture to Enhance Digital and Marketing Capabilities with Acquisition of Fjord
NEW YORK; May 7, 2013 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) today announced it has agreed to acquire Fjord – a global service design consultancy that specializes in creating digital experiences and services that engage consumers across platforms including smart devices, tablets and PCs. The acquisition will expand the digital and marketing capabilities Accenture offers its clients, allowing chief marketing officers (CMOs) and digital leaders to create distinctive customer experiences and bring them to market with speed. Accenture to Manage Rollout of Leading Global Carmaker’s New Web Platform and Online Marketing Campaigns
MUNICH; May 6, 2013 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been selected by premium German car manufacturer BMW to manage the rollout of a custom-built web platform to BMW’s major markets by 2014. In a second agreement, Accenture will manage the roll-out of BMW’s global digital marketing campaigns and work with each local market to maintain the content.

NEW YORK; March 25, 2013 – Senior sales and marketing executives of large U.S. pharmaceutical companies – with corporate revenues in excess of $1 billion in revenue – plan to sharpen their focus on multi-channel marketing and step up their use of digital technologies and analytics in 2013, according to a new survey by Accenture (NYSE:ACN). At the same time, more than four-fifths of the 200 executives surveyed – 83 percent – see cost reduction as their number-one strategic priority for the year.
