Tech-Savvy Seniors Want Online Options to Access Care from Home, Accenture Survey Shows
CHICAGO; March 2, 2015 – Just as an estimated 3.9 million Americans are reaching 65 years old this year1, an Accenture survey shows there is growing demand among tech-savvy seniors (67 percent) who want to access healthcare services from home, but the majority (66 percent) are worried today’s technology isn’t sufficient to do so.

Digital Technologies Implemented Together Have Greater Potential to Transform Businesses, Finds New Accenture Study
Mobile World Congress, Barcelona; March 2, 2015 – Large enterprises have clear expectations of digital technologies – including interactive marketing, analytics, mobility and cloud – and their potential for business transformation, according to a new survey commissioned by Accenture (NYSE: ACN). In ‘Growing the Digital Business: Accenture Mobility Research 2015’, an overwhelming ninety percent of respondents in 15 countries agreed they had clear expectations of digital technologies. Improved focus on customers, channels and markets and driving business growth were seen as the core benefits. Seven out of 10 respondents said that digital technologies have greater potential for transformation when implemented together, rather than in isolation or one at a time.

NEW YORK; Feb. 26, 2015 – New research from Accenture reports that while nearly all (96 percent)global professionals consider themselves to be good listeners, the vast majority (98 percent) spend part of their workday multitasking. In fact, almost two-thirds (64 percent) say that listening has become significantly more difficult in today’s digital workplace.

Accenture Survey Shows Digital Investing Tools Are Disrupting the European Investor-Advisor Relationship
LONDON; Feb. 10, 2015 – Digital investing tools are changing the ways financial advisors connect with investors and will impact how investors use their advisors in the future, according to an Accenture report based on a survey of 1,200 middle- and high-income, digitally savvy European investors, which Accenture refers to as “Generation D.” The study found that investors value digital financial planning tools that offer investment education, advanced planning and scenario analysis, suggesting that wealth management firms that provide these tools and alter their business models to better serve both traditional and autonomous investors will come out on top.

Suppliers in the United States, Brazil, China and India Least Resilient Against Climate Change Risks, Finds New Global Study from CDP and Accenture
NEW YORK; January 27, 2015  -- Lack of preparation currently leaves supply chains in Brazil, China, India and the United States more vulnerable to climate risks than those in Europe and Japan. However, suppliers in China and India deliver the greatest financial return on investment to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and demonstrate the strongest appetite for collaboration across the value chain, according to research released today by CDP, the international NGO formerly called Carbon Disclosure Project, and Accenture (NYSE:ACN).

Pittsburgh Hospitals Reduce Emergency Department Visits using Patient Navigators
PITTSBURGH; Jan. 26, 2015 – Three hospitals in western Pennsylvania had a 43 percent reduction in excessive emergency department visits by using patient navigators – low-cost, trained members of the community who connect patients with essential care services – as part of a one-year pilot study conducted by Accenture and the Highmark Foundation.
